Proceeds support Mr. Smith in purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle and state-of-the-art intervention at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's ABLE program.
On August 12, 1998 Mr. Smith's life dramatically changed when he was involved in a car accident that led to a spinal cord injury and paralysis from the shoulders down. His primary goal is to raise funds to replace his 22-year-old wheelchair accessible van and to participate in state-of-the-art neuromuscular interventions through the able program at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (i.e. One neuromuscular electrical stimulation session = $175).
